Christopher Cross (Kross) - I was at Cafe Snob at my school's Research building and was awaiting to receive my chicken salad sandwich. I happened to go at lunch time, so my wait was longer than usual. While I was waiting, I was standing next to this guy and I simply went up to him and asked "so what did you order?"
That started a long conversation about our undergrad degrees, his job at Saint Joseph Hospital Research Center, my move to the windy city, etc! We had a great convo and he left by telling me this "You'll do great in Chicago, especially since you came up to me and just started talking."

Ruth - I met Ruth while at work. She's the replacement custodian for my office. She walked in quietly and didn't say anything to me. Because she's new (replacement), I decided to strike up a conversation with her to see what she's about. Ruth is from Michigan and didn't really say much. I then saw her again, pushing carts through a small door. I was able to call her name out and ask if she needed any help, but she was able to push the carts through herself! =)

Madhu Mathew - I met this cool guy named Madhu Mathew via facebook. Saw a pic of him in a friend's album and I decided to poke him, b/c I thought he was cute! After a short poking war, we started messaging each other and learned small tidbits of one another! He's from New York and responds to emails super fast! =)
